The exterior of the Chapel of "The Little
Hill" where Our Lady first appeared to Juan Diego. The concrete sail on
the right is an ex-voto [either a solemn promise or a votive
offering] commemorating the miraculous intervention of Our
Lady when she saved the crew of a ship that was sinking in a terrible storm.
