This
Baroque artist is one of the few woman who have painted Our Lady. This
is not her only Madonna, but the only one we have a copy of. A few
years ago another of her Madonnas was honored on an USPS stamp issue;
the US Postal Service used to not only issue Madonna stamps but sell
beautiful postcards, which have been discontinued. That particular
stamp was discontinued after 2002 I believe. I have been unable to
acquire any other knowledge of the artist.
